Overview of Pricing Options

Bookingleaf offers flexible solutions for handling different prices and discounts. The available methods depend on the stage in the enrollment process.

Pricing Options When Setting Up Activities

When setting up activities, you can define multiple pricing options. This is the recommended method for offering discounts to customers.

  • Customer-driven selection: Customers select the relevant price option during booking
  • Control mechanism: You can activate approval requirements to verify that the customer has chosen the correct price before the order is completed

Discount Options for Manual Enrollment

As an activity provider, you have the greatest flexibility when registering participants manually:

  1. Price category selection: First, choose the desired price category from your configured sales
  2. Discounting in order draft: In the order draft, you can then:
    • Add a percentage discount to the order line
    • Add a fixed amount as a discount on the order line

Managing Discounts on Existing Orders

For existing orders, there are two options for applying discounts:

Recommended method: Unenrollment and reenrollment

The preferred method is to unenroll the participant and then register a new enrollment with the correct discount. This ensures that:

  • The correct amount is recorded in the enrollment itself
  • The discount information is retained for any future changes

Alternative method: Manual discount line

An alternative is to add a separate discount line to the existing order:

  • Important: In case of cancellation or modification of sessions, the system will use the original, undiscounted price
  • Note: You must manually adjust discount lines for any subsequent changes to the order
